Life story
November 24, 1938
Born to Luther W. Pursley Sr and Mary A. Douthit
April 29, 1957
Momma was blessed with a beautiful baby girl on this day, Vickie Lynn. These 2 would soon meet a wonderful man that will become and will always be "Vickies Daddy".........
April 30, 1960
And so the wonderful man came along and Charlene Pursley married Billy Frank Land!
October 16, 1961
On this day a baby boy was born, Larry Frank. This little blessing will end up being their only boy.
December 26, 1965
On this day a beautiful  baby girl was born, Norma Jean.  Never would there be a dull moment, her smile and laughter brought joy to everyone.  She looked like daddy, but later on according to Norma, daddy looked like her.     By Vicki

October 5, 1975
On this day Momma and Daddy became "Nanny and Papa".....  Kimberly Lynn Fagan was born to Terry and Vickie Fagan. This precious little girl became our "Kimi"...

Although a couple years later we found out my Grannys dog, Peppy, did NOT think Kimi was so precious... She pulled his tail and he bit her on the face.......

This was a sad day for The Land Family, Larry Frank Land went to be with the Lord. This was hard on us all but for parents to have to bury one of their children is devastating.

Daddy walked into Mommas hospital room real early this morning, he said "Good Morning honey!", I got on the bed and leaned over Momma telling her Daddy was here. Momma's eyes lit up, she turned her head towards Daddy and repeatedly said "Hi Honey" "Hi Honey" "Hi Honey" "Hi Honey" "Hi Honey"..... I told Daddy to wave at her or say something to her. The site I saw after that was the most beautiful display of love this man has for his beloved wife. Daddy went to Mommas bed side and stood beside her, holding her hand and talking to her for the longest time, the pain and discomfort he has seemed to vanish during this moment as he stood holding Momma's hand, telling her to get better so she can come home. As a young girl I loved the song "Daddys Hands" .... today that song took on a whole new meaning!
